This Privacy Policy explains how Smithi ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Smithi's services and website at smithi.ai. It applies to the people who use Smithi and to the client and transaction information handled through the service. By using Smithi, you agree to this policy.

- Disclosures and transaction records we process for the agent

- Emails and text messages sent on your behalf
- Showing and scheduling requests
Website and technical information
- Details you submit through our contact form
- Analytics about how the site is used
- IP address, approximate location, device, and browser
Much of the client and transaction information we handle is provided by the agent or brokerage using Smithi, who remains responsible for it. Smithi processes it to deliver the service on their behalf.
How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve Smithi's services
- Prepare, review, and route real estate documents
- Produce property valuations and comparable-sales analysis
- Coordinate showings, scheduling, and communications
- Respond to inquiries and schedule walkthroughs
- Keep our services secure and prevent misuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How AI is used
Smithi uses AI to help prepare drafts, valuations, and marketing materials from the information in a transaction. A licensed agent reviews and approves this work before anything is sent or filed. Smithi prepares it, the agent reviews and approves it, and only then is it sent.
We do not use your information to train third-party AI models. Any AI provider we use processes data only to provide the service and under its own terms.
Third-party providers
We rely on a set of service providers to run Smithi. We share information with them only as needed to deliver the service, and each is bound to protect it. We use providers in these categories:
- E-signature and transaction-management providers, to send documents for review and signature
- MLS and listing-syndication services, to publish and update listings
- Property-data and valuation providers, to look up property records and comparable sales
- AI providers, to help generate drafts, valuations, and marketing copy
- Scheduling providers, to coordinate showings and appointments
- Email and SMS providers, to send transactional messages
- Marketing-media providers, to produce listing images and materials
- Website hosting, form-processing, and analytics providers, to run this site

Your rights
Access
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction
Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Deletion
Ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal holds.

Restriction
Ask us to limit how we process your information.
Smithi serves customers in the United States. Depending on the state you live in, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, email privacy@smithi.ai.
Storage, security, and retention
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit, we work with reputable providers, and we limit access to the people who need it.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and professional recordkeeping obligations, then delete it. You can request deletion, subject to legal holds.
Children's privacy
Smithi is intended for real estate professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

Smithi is responsible for the personal information handled through the service. You can reach us at privacy@smithi.ai.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
